    This test looks for two types of bacteria, Mycoplasma genitalium and Ureaplasma urealyticum, in your urine. These bacteria can cause sexually transmitted infections and urinary tract infections. The test uses a method called Nucleic Acid Amplification (NAA) to detect the genetic material of these bacteria.
